When you threaten a space, you have the ability to react to provoking actions that happen in that space. Whenever a creature in a space that you threaten performs a provoking action, you may perform an opportunity attack against that creature as an immediate interrupt.
If you are a medium or small creature, you threaten each space adjacent to you. Tiny creatures only threaten the square that they are in.
